folegandros | for some it’s the perfect greek is

folegandros | for some it’s the perfect greek island — tiny, charming, untouristy and refreshing. it has an old-fashioned feel, quite different from the nearby santorini, a slow pace and an unsophisticated vibe. you’ll be arriving at its picturesque harbour, you’ll be enjoying incredible views of the aegean from its chora (one of the prettiest in cyclades) and fresh, local food at the family-run tavernas (so many options to choose from!).⁣
⁣
you won’t find (m)any organised beaches with sun lounges and busy beach bars — and this adds a lot to its character. we’d definitely recommend to take one of the boat trips that go all around the island, with quick stops at idyllic bays (like katergo) for swimming/snorkelling and spending a day in and out of dreamy blue and green waters.⁣
